Meat Processing Worker


Meat Processing Workers needed for our beef processing plant in Fort McCoy, Florida.
Drive from Ocala: approx. 25-30 minutes.
Minimum Starting Salary: $11.50 hour / Higher with butcher experience

State of the art beef processing plant is looking for candidates with any of the following types of experience:

  • Meat cutting/trimming skills
  • De-boning and hide removal
  • Slaughtering and knife use
  • Meat or other food packaging
  • Use of industrial sized meat grinder
  • Industrial food production/factory work
  • Cattle Handling

Shift: Daytime (Varies between hours of 6am-6pm), Monday – Friday. Weekend and overtime work may be
required occasionally.
Full Time (40 hours per week).

Experience in one of these areas is preferred by not mandatory: slaughtering, meat cutting, food packaging,
factory work or cattle handling.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must be 18 years or older and be eligible to work in the United States.
Must be able to stand for 8-10 hour shifts with breaks.
Must be able to bend, climb, reach and perform physically demanding tasks.
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 60 pounds.
Must be able to tolerate cold temperatures and noisy and wet environments.
Must be comfortable doing repetitive tasks at quick speeds with precision.
Must be able to function in safety gear such as steel-toed rubber boots, hard hats, rubber gloves, etc.
Must be safety conscious and follow safety guidelines without fail.
